Description: Air Filter for Briggs and Stratton engines. Fits ELS (Extended Life Series) with 17.5, 18.5 and 21 Hp. Fits 31L – 33M 310000, 330000 series engines. This is a specially designed air cleaner filter cartridge for use with Briggs and Stratton engines. These engines are commonly installed on lawn and garden equipment. The purpose of an air cleaner is to filter out dust and debris from entering and damaging the engine. This part consists of a paper-pleated filter with two plastic covers and a metal frame. It is advised to replace the pre-cleaner filter when replacing the cartridge. Please note it is sold separately.

Replacing this filter is an easy task that requires no tools.
• Unscrew the cover knob
• Remove air filter cover
• Remove the cartridge and pre-cleaner
• Clean any dust from the filter holder/base
• Install a new filter
• Reassemble and test the engine
