Description: V-Belt 5/8″ x 53-3/8″Engine to variable speed, fits 300-700 series; 36″, 38″, 42″, 46″ & 50″ tractors 400, 600, 800 series (except hydrostatic trans).
The variable speed belt goes around the engine pulley and the variable speed pulley. It is sold individually and is a part which is specifically designed for use with lawn tractors made by MTD, Ryobi, Yard Machines, and Yard Man. A screwdriver, a set of pliers, a socket set, and a wrench set may all be needed to help replace this part if it becomes broken or stretched.
